Bonnie Shaver-Troup holds an EdD and works as an educational therapist. Shaver-Troup started the Lexend project with the goal of easing reading for everyone, and the first Lexend typeface dates from early 2001, drawn to cut visual stress and help readers with dyslexia and others who find reading hard.
