Playfair Display
About
Claus Eggers Sørensen's Playfair is called a transitional design. It reflects the late 18th century Enlightenment, when pointed steel pens replaced broad nib quills. With better printing, ink and paper, high-contrast letters with delicate hairlines became fashionable, drifting further from handwriting.
