Sarah Cadigan-Fried drew Yarndings as an ornamental typeface for knitters, part of the Soft Type Collection, which lets them chart typographic projects. The design mixes typographic ornaments, Fair Isle and Nordic knitting patterns, and dingbat fonts from the nineties.
