Jacquard 24
About
Sarah Cadigan-Fried expanded Jacquard from a Victorian needlepoint alphabet drawn in Berlin by Heinrich Kuehn around 1880. The project explains that type for knitting is much like pixel type, except the yarn sets the pixel size, and scale depends on yarn weight and how many pixels form a letter.
